WSU's Bulletin Published

The University of Wolaita Sodo published the university’s facts and figures which compiled various documents with expressive statistical abstracts of the year 2009/10. The bulletin was prepared by the External and Public Relations Office.

WSU's HDP Commenced

Wolaita Sodo University has commenced its fourth batch Higher Diploma Program (HDP) for the university’s lecturers and instructors. The program has two groups. Currently, the program is offerd by Angela Kleemann (MA), who is an Irish volunteer for Ethiopia from VSO.

WSU Graduated its HDP Students

The first batch Higher Diploma Program students of WSU's senior lecturers and instructors were graduated at Wolaita Gutara Hall. The program was facilitated by Mr. Adam Krüsi-Thom, MA.Ed., who is an American Volunteer.

Health Faculity Graduated its Students

The Faculity of Health graduated its Public Health Department's first batch of 32 students with a Bachelor degree at Wolaita Gutara Hall. Among the graduated students 11 were females and the rest 21 were males.

WSU Graduated its HDP Students

The second and third batch Higher Diploma Program students of WSU's senior lecturers and instructors were graduated at Wolaita Gutara Hall. The program was facilitated by Sr. Teresa Staunton (MA), who provides a voluntary service in Ethiopian TEIs from VSO.

WSU Graduated its First Batch

The University of Wolaita Sodo graduated the first batch 569 students with a BSc and B.A. degrees on July 18, 2009. Among the graduated students 88 were females and the rest 481 were males.[MORE PICTURES ]

The Lost Legacy is Being Returned

Now a days, it is true that our environment has been endangered by various factors. Human beings, for instance, have a lion’s share in altering the originality of our environment. Currently, various governments, organizations, concerned individuals, etc are lifting up aloud their voice to restore the potentially endangered environment. Among the concerned environmentalists, Yohannes Gizaw is one. Yohannes, who is instructor at Wolaita Sodo University.
