From my first day on the campus of Wolaita Sodo University, I knew coming here was the right decision.

Located in the south outskirt of Sodo town, SNNPR, Ethiopia, the University is one of the country’s public universities. In my opinion, the parameter for the University growing to be Center of excellence in academic, research, consultancy and the public outreach services is the role of all students, faculties and staff.

More than 9,000 students are seeking degrees at Wolaita Sodo University in broad range of undergraduate programs. I’m pleased to hear them echo my pride in being part of this exciting learning community.

Our esteemed staff composition -as diverse as our students- is committed to academic excellence and relevant teaching.
