About

I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Biotechnology from Wolaita Sodo University, followed by a Master of Science degree in Plant Biotechnology from Hawassa University.

Research

I have strong research interests in my field of study, particularly in plant cell and tissue culture, as well as enhancing molecular genetic diversity in agricultural crops.Lists of my interests are:1. Enhancing stress tolerance and secondary metabolite production using callus and cell cultures.2. Conservation of endangered plants through in vitro methods.3. Developing innovative micropropagation techniques for economically and ecologically important plant species4. Identifying climate-resilient genotypes and novel agronomic genes for crop improvement.5. Conducting studies on the effects of environmental factors on plant genetic variation.

Publication

I am actively working on publishing my MSc research thesis, which delves into significant findings in my field of study. Additionally, I am dedicated to contributing further impactful research within my department, aimed at advancing scientific knowledge and fostering innovation. My work reflects a commitment to addressing real-world challenges and enhancing our understanding of plant biotechnology
