This is to inform all first-year regular program students at Wolaita Sodo University:
Students who completed the 2017 academic year through the Remedial Program and passed the qualifying exams, and who have been newly admitted to the first-year program for the 2018 academic year by the Ministry of Education to Wolaita Sodo University, are required to complete their regular registration on October 21 and 22, 2018 E.C. Late registration will be held on October 24, 2018 E.C, with penalties.
Required Documents for Registration: • Original and one copy of the 8th-grade certificate
• Transcripts from grades 9 to 12
• Eight (08) passport-sized (3x4 cm) photos
• Bed sheets, blanket, warm clothing, and sportswear
Students must appear in person at the campus to which they have been assigned to complete registration.
Important Reminders: • Students who arrive before or after the specified dates will not be accepted.
• Students who completed the 2017 Remedial Program and passed the qualifying exams must register at the campus where they attended the remedial program.
• Newly admitted first-year students assigned by the Ministry of Education to Wolaita Sodo University must register in person at the campus they’ve been placed in:
• For Natural Sciences, students whose names fall alphabetically from A to Aschalew Wondimu Wosen
• For Social Sciences, students whose names fall alphabetically from A to Amanuel Mohammed Murti
These students will register at the Dawro Tarcha Campus
• Others will register at the Main Campus
