Welcome to College of Agriculture (CoA).

Since its establishment as a faculty in 1999, for the past 17 years, College of Agriculture has been formulating various strategies to fulfill the mission given by the government and our university, and has been providing the expected services. In accordance with the direction set by our university to become an Applied Science University and a center of excellence, the university has decided to make our college a center of excellence. College of Agriculture has seven departments.

There are currently 243 employees in the college, namely 196 (195 Ethiopian and 01 foreign) teachers, 32 technical assistants and 15 support staff. The statistics of the college's teachers, according to their level of education, will be 59 with first degree, 813 with second degree, 102 with second degree and 35 with third degree. In addition, when this teacher statistics is viewed by academic rank, there are 59 graduate assistants, 63 lecturers, 57 assistant professors, 16 associate professors and 1 full professor.

In terms of academic programs, in 2016, there are 7 undergraduate programs, 14 second degree programs, 06 third degree programs, and a total of 27 educational programs. It is fulfilling its national role by expanding academic programs so that there are regular, weekend, and summer program options, and it is also carrying out problem-solving research activities and community services on a large scale.
